Pass above test runner object to unittest.main method to run it. Then you can find the output Html report file in the output directory. Generate Xml Test Reports. Install python xmlrunner module. Import python xmlrunner module and create XMLTestRunner object. Run the XMLTestRunner object with unittest.main method. Save this file and execute dotnet test to build the tests and the class library and then run the tests. The MSTest test runner contains the program entry point to run your tests. Dotnet test starts the test runner using the unit test project you've created. Your test fails. You haven't created the implementation yet. To open Test Explorer, choose Test Windows Test Explorer from the top menu bar. Run your unit tests by clicking Run All (or press Ctrl + R, V ). After the tests have completed, a green check mark indicates that a test passed. A red 'x' icon indicates that a test failed.
